Five Steps to Simplicity

Have you ever had one of those days when most of the plates you’re spinning in the air come crashing down at your feet? Evaluate: Now that you have cleaned and organized your space and process, determine what works for you and what doesn’t. Start a mental inventory of your business and its direction. Are you where you thought you’d be at this point? If not, make a list of the reasons why.

Eliminate: Always late for your 9am across town? Change it to 10am and save yourself the stress. Joe Client never pays on time? Put his sessions on hold until he brings a check. Get rid of anything holding you or your business from moving forward. Don’t be afraid to ‘clean house’ to make room for what’s important: growth.

Communicate: One of the most valuable skills you will learn as a ‘solopreneur’ is how to communicate with your clients through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Update your clients on your new process and policies, invite them to offer suggestions and feedback and always notify them of any changes that will affect their services.
